Competition Categories & Classes
Freestyle (Salon Grooming) – Individual Participation
Participants perform a salon-style haircut, categorized by coat type:
Straight Coat (Yorkshire Terrier, Maltese, Shih Tzu, etc.)
Curly Coat (Poodles, Bichon Frise, and similar breeds)
Double Coat (Spitz breeds, Corgis, Pekingese, etc.)
Best Team – Group Participation
1. Teams of three groomers from the same salon or company.
2. Each team member represents a different coat type.
3. Both beginners and professionals can join together.
4. Winners are determined by the combined total scores of all team members.
Competition Classes
Beginners Class: For groomers with less than two years of experience.
Open Class: For experienced professional groomers with prior competition experience.
